The Rock Project has lots going on.

The Rock Project teaches guitar, drums, bass, and vocal performance skills.

Working with professional music tutors, the project aims to teach the key skills needed, including musicianship, band formation, and live performance at all levels for 7-18 yr olds.

The students will get the chance to showcase their talent every week and perform live in an annual end-of-year concert July.

 The Rock Project in the West Midlands runs on Fridays  after school.

Hatchford Brook Youth centre, Old lode Lane, Solihull.

• 7-11 yrs - Friday 4:10-6:10
• 11-18 yrs - Friday 6:15-8:15
• 19-99 yrs - Friday 8:30-10:00

FIRST SESSION FREE - RING to BOOK

The sessions last for two hours, one hour with a tutor and a one hour plug and play session, where they get to play with other students and start working towards setting up their own performances and bands.

All the project’s tutors have been fully vetted via the Criminal Records Bureau and are musical professionals with many years of experience to help and encourage the would be rock stars.

The cost of the two-hour session is £20 and can be paid weekly. “We want to make The Rock Project accessible to everyone so we don’t ask for a ‘term upfront payment’,” said Richard.
