We have another amazing evening in store for you at The Tea Box. Annika Mangnberg has a beautiful voice with a profile of Jazz tracks which are delivered with influences from Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughan, Eva Cassidy and Billie Holiday to name a few.

After studying at a music and drama college in Sweden Annika moved to London to join a newly formed Motown inspired band. She has performed at many venues around London, the Borderline, the Garage, Dublin Castle, Raymonds Revue Bar, to name a few, as well as The O2 Festival in Hyde Park. Together with her band she also ran a successful clubnight at The Notting Hill Arts Club for over a year, their debut single got A-listed at BBC Radio 2 and their album was voted "Album of the Week".

Jazz has always been a big passion and inspiration for Annika and that's why she's now changing directions from her band to going solo. Her repertoire includes many of the classic jazz standards, English as well as Swedish, together with more contemporary songs with new arrangements. She has already performed at different jazz venues in and around London, amongst them the Bulls Head in Barnes, as well as working with 2 big bands. This year she was also involved in The Edinburgh Fringe Festival where she performed in 3 shows. At the moment she's working quite a lot with old Swedish jazz classics, especially the songs of Monica Zetterlund.
