New Beginners Tai Chi Class (Woodley)

Start date: 20th April 2012 until 27th July 2012

This introduction to Chen style Tai Chi is aimed at those with no previous experience of Tai Chi. It is suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels and will take you through the origins and principles of Tai Chi as well as leading you through the basic sequence of moves, or "Form".

Benefits are likely to include improved posture, leg strength, flexibility, and balance. Regular practice can also help to lower blood pressure, ward-off osteoporosis and delay the onset of Type 2 diabetes, as well as increase concentration and general well-being.

Berkshire Tai Chi was set up in 1996 and is a Founder member of the Chinese Internal Arts Association, and a member of the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain.

The class will run on Fridays from 18:30 - 19:30 at Woodford Park Leisure Centre, Haddon Drive, Woodley, RG5 4LY.
