Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Portsmouth.
At some time between 10.45pm and 11pm on Monday, July 12, a burglary occurred at a property on Shakespeare Road, Portsmouth.
One of the men entered the house through the front room window. The second man acted as a look out, outside the address.
Once inside, untidy searches of the main bedroom, spare bedroom and the cupboard under the stairs were made. A number of items of ‘dress' jewellery were stolen, as well as a 20 Euro note.
Officers have descriptions of the men they would like to speak to.
The first man, who was outside the address, is described as:
White
Around 5ft 7ins
Skinny build
Aged around 18 to 19
Wearing a blue Nike tracksuit with stripes going from the shoulder to the ankles, and a blue baseball cap.
The second man, who went inside the address, is described as:
White
Around 5ft 9ins
Aged around 18 to 19
Slightly bigger build than first man
Wearing a dark tracksuit and dark baseball cap.
Both men were riding dark coloured men's mountain bikes.
Detective Constable Dave Higgins, said: "I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward. Did you see these men in the area? Or do you recognise them from the descriptions?
"I would urge anyone with any information to get in touch with us."
