Solid Plastering

Solid plastering and screeding is often used in old buildings as many walls need re-rendering. In most cases solid render is the best choice in these old homes because of thickness required and the faster drying time of solid. The most popular is acrylic render because it is a far more economic material because it is less labour intensive so the saving in labour is very cost effective. D.P. Plastering level and straighten corners, angles, and wall and ceiling surfaces. Externally, they render exterior walls and moulds.

Dry Lining

Dry lining uses plasterboard fixed to walls so therefore it is relatively a dry process which can then be decorated shortly after completion. The plasterboard is tacked directly to the timber studs. On masonry construction it can be stuck to the walls. Dry lining is then taped and jointed using our special paper tape or it can be skimmed with a thin coat of plaster which provides a perfectly smooth surface that is indistinguishable from hard plaster.

Render System
