Halloween activities at the Museum of Oxford
You can make a witches or wizard costume or make Halloween lanterns to hang at your windows during the Museum of Oxford's Halloween half term activities.
You can also take part in lots of art and crafts activities and follow the witches and wizards trail through the galleries.
The Witches and Wizards Halloween Trail takes place until Friday 29 October and you can wander through the museum looking for wicked witches and wonderful wizards. The trail cost £1 and includes a souvenir prize.
There is also a witches cats and vampire bats creation station where you can you make a cat mask or a frightening flapping bat. The creation station costs £1.50 and children must be accompanied by an adult.
There are three Ollie the Ox's activities for children to take part in.
Tuesday 26 October: 11am - 12.30pm and 2pm - 3.30pm
Terrific T-shirt painting: Design a spooky or seasonal scene then use stamps, pens, paints and pastels to create a terrific t-shirt.
Wednesday 27 October: 11am - 12.30pm and 2pm - 3.30pm
Witches and Wizards: Get creative and make a costume for a witch or wizard complete with cloak and hat.
Thursday 28 October: 11am - 12.30pm and 2pm - 3.30pm
Halloween hangings. Make a marvellous lantern to hang in your window to scare off ghosts and ghouls this Halloween.
Art and craft activities are suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years. Sorry no under 5s unless otherwise stated. Children under 8 should bring an adult with them. Booking is recommended as space is limited. All workshops cost £3.00 per person.
