This post is within the Technical Services Section of the Radiotherapy Physics Department which currently comprises 4 dedicated radiotherapy equipment engineers and 2 mould room technicians. Your priority will be to assist the Radiotherapy department in the efficient but safe treatment of patients.

Your primary role will be to contribute to the 1st line maintenance and quality assurance of all Radiotherapy equipment within the department including linear accelerators, x-ray machines and other complex medical equipment. The department is networked, filmless and largely paper free. You will also contribute to the mould room service including patient immobilisation device production and QA, plus geometric and optical machine QA.
