A 27 year old man was robbed in Northampton town centre in the early hours of Saturday 30 January.
He was approached by two men in Bridge Street who then followed him into Jeyes Jetty and assaulted him before taking cash from his trouser pocket. The victim receieved a split lip and eyebrow for which he received hospital treatment. The incident happened sometime between midnight and 1am. Both offenders were black men, aged between 20 and 30 and between 5ft6" and 5ft7" tall, with short black hair. Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident.
