POLICE in Wellingborough have today uncovered a cannabis factory containing over 300 mature cannabis plants. A misuse of drugs act warrant was executed in Priory Road, further to police receiving local intelligence. As a result a 37-year-old man is being held in custody at Wellingborough police station. Sector Commander Nick Lyall said: "We are keen to act on intelligence received from the local community, as this demonstrates. "We take a tough stance against drugs offences and organised crime.
