For Playing Golf in Newton Abbot we at Hele Park pride ourselves as one of the most welcoming Clubs for all standards of Golfer here in the Newton Abbot area. From a complete Golfing novice to an experienced Playing Golfing Professional, our facilities cater for all whether a round or Lessons you will find Hele Park a friendly Club giving you an opportunity to relax and have fun whether Playing on our superbly manicured Course or Playing on our well equipped Driving Range or in our well catered restaurant. 

For Playing in Newton Abbot, our Driving Range can be used for Lessons and Golfing in all weathers and has power tees fitted. For Golfers that don’t like having lessons or practising in the cold, some of our bays have heating! The Driving Range is open to the Clubs members and Non Golfing members alike. We can supply Clubs for you to use.

For Newton Abbot Golfing, to Play our Course you can book as a Golfing non-member up to 5 days in advance but if you fancy an impulsive round just turn up and we will do our utmost to get you Playing on the course as soon as a tee time becomes available, just bring your Clubs!  We do however recommend calling us before you set off with your Clubs to ensure we aren’t fully booked. If we can’t give you a tee time quickly you can use our Driving Range or even try our Fairways Restaurant for a meal, a coffee or a drink from our licensed bar whilst admiring the spectacular views across the Devon countryside before you enjoy your Golfing experience.

Lessons

Our Golfing Director, Duncan Arnold or one of his staff, will always be on hand to give you advice on any aspect of your Golfing experience. For Golfing lessons with Duncan himself or Lessons with one of his PGA qualified staff just ask. We will provide Clubs if you have just started. Duncan and his staff will use up to date equipment to look at your swing and enhance your Golfing capabilities. At Hele Park we run Golfing Academies and Lessons for Golfers who are at any playing level. These Lessons are run in groups so it’s a great way take Lessons as you will meet fellow Golfers and have fun whilst learning or enhancing your skills as a Golfer. Clubs can be provided for beginners in our Lessons.

 The Pro shop is designed for Golfers of all Playing capabilities. If you are looking for a particular Club or a full set of Clubs, from shoes to bags, jumpers and trousers to rain suits and all popular sundries. He will advise you on the type of Club or Clubs you are best suited to and will even provide a fitting service for the Clubs you are trying out. He stocks brands such as Callaway, Titleist, Cobra, Mizuno, Wilson, TourEdge, Footjoy, Glenmuir, Pringle, EPPro and Cutter & Buck to name just a few.
