I have a role for as 3rd line Support/ Systems Administasrtor to join my client based in South Wales split between their Cardiff and Newport offices. Part of a team responsible for the effective day to day operation of the Cardiff Development and Hosting Site you will be providing 3rd line support and acting as an escalation point for IT Support staff.

You will need to have excellent issue solving skills and a determination to get the job done to a high standard.

The position will involve:

- Support of the IT infrastructure which includes Windows Server System based Active Directory, Extreme Network Infrastructure, IBM X-Series Hardware, IBM BladeCentre, VMWare
- new systems as required.
- Perform upgrades to hardware, operating systems and software ensuring upgrades are planned, documented and communicated to the client and team as appropriate.
