As General Manager you will ensure that this fast-moving, distribution region achieves all operational & revenue targets. Your responsibilities include but not be limited to the following:
- Managing a Transport Department in a multi-drop, multi-temp environment.
- Delivering a financial P&L
- Man Management of 350+ FTE`s.
- A key element of this role will be to lead, coach and develop the senior management team within your region and across the wider network.
- Delivering all operational KPI`s and overseeing all Personnel, Financial, strategic and operational aspects of the site.
- You will also work with the customer to identify opportunities and undertake initiatives to support the overall business strategy.
This fast-moving and intensive operation involves a considerable exposure to people management and management development and the successful applicant will have a clear and tangible personal development plan to achieve, single site with progression to multi-site
