Three men sentenced for robbery in Milton Keynes

Three men have been sent to prison for committing a robbery in Milton Keynes.

On Saturday 8 February 2009, a 16-year-old boy was walking home along Shenley Road, Bletchley, when he was approached by a group of three men. One of the men asked what he had on him and one of the other offenders assaulted him. The victim handed over his packet of tobacco and the three offenders walked off.

Police attended the scene and while the victim was being driven home by the police, he identified a group of three men who were walking along the road who matched the offenders from the robbery. All three were arrested and later charged with robbery.

Louis Nkueno, aged 19, from Avon Grove, Bletchley pleaded guilty to robbery and was sentenced to 16 months detention in a Young Offenders Institution.

Gavin Langley, aged 20, from Tees Way, Bletchley and Marc Snowden, aged 18, from Wye Close, Bletchley both pleaded not guilty, and were found guilty by a jury at Huntingdon Crown Court.

Langley was sentenced to 27 months detention in a Young Offenders Institution and Snowden was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment, suspended for two years, he must complete 240 hours of unpaid work and pay £250 in costs.
