The Pinnacle Launches with Fine Dining

Fine dining to complement the exceptional high quality of Milton Keynes’ newest landmark building was on the menu for the crème de la crème of office agents from London, the Home Counties and the Midlands.

Having recently completed a two year build programme of The Pinnacle - a spectacular 206,000 sq ft office building on Midsummer Boulevard - the developer, Hampton Brook and joint venture partners Aberdeen Property Investors hosted a reception to mark the official launch of the Pinnacle and provide food for thought for the guests.

Ian Jackson, Development Director at Hampton Brook explained The Pinnacle’s superb environmental credentials are high on many occupiers’ agendas in order for them to demonstrate their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.  As well as being awarded one of the UK’s most prestigious sustainable achievement accolades at the National Office Development Awards - beating schemes in London and Birmingham - it also boasts being the first building in Milton Keynes to achieve a BREEAM rating of excellent and the first to achieve an Energy Efficient Rating of A.

This was certainly a prerequisite for occupiers, the business advisory firm Deloitte and the international law firm Denton Wilde Sapte which signed up for space - taking approximately half of the building between them when The Pinnacle was just a plan on the drawing board.  Both companies are now in occupation.

Ian Jackson outlined the massive savings in energy consumption that once in occupation a tenant could make compared with other less sustainable buildings.  The Pinnacle’s green credentials also allow occupiers to demonstrate their corporate social responsibility a prerequisite in today’s business environment.  The Pinnacle offers Grade A accommodation at a fraction of the costs compared with similar buildings in London or Birmingham.

Before the launch guests enjoyed a brief tour of the building and saw its commanding views of the city’s skyline, Guy Barnett, the Marketing Manager of Invest Milton Keynes (IMK) spoke of his excitement at Hampton Brook’s £70m inward investment to the city, as part of a joint venture partnership with Aberdeen Property Investors.  He also explained IMK’s commitment to helping businesses maximise the opportunities that the city can offer.
