01908 222 111 Man charged with drug offences – Milton Keynes
Thames Valley Police has charged a man with drug offences after two officers smelt drugs while on patrol.
Officers were on foot patrol in the Two Mile Ash neighbourhood on Saturday (30/1) when they came across the smell of class B drug, cannabis from a property. They entered the address and arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of possession of class B drug cannabis.
Following the arrest, a section 32 house search, of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 was conducted where cocaine a class "A" drug was seized with the approximate street value of £9,500.
The suspect was subsequently arrested for possession of class A drug, cocaine with intent to supply.
Edrese Gardner, aged 24, from Norrington, Two Mile Ash was later charged on Sunday (31/1) with possession of class A drug, cocaine with intent to supply and possession of class B drug, cannabis.
Gardner has been released on conditional bail until he appears at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 16 February.
