Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Milton Keynes at the weekend.
Sometime between 5pm on Saturday 23 and 4.30pm on Sunday 24 January, offenders gained entry to Willen Hospice charity shop, Queensway, Bletchley, and stole over £1,000.
PC Karla Standen, investigating, said: "The staff at the store are volunteers who help support the charity and they have been left very upset by the burglary. This has also had a big impact on the local community who have been left shocked and upset by this crime.
"A theft against a charity is the lowest form of criminality and I urge anyone with information to contact me."
Anyone with information is urged to contact PC Standen at Milton Keynes police station via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to talk to the police, call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
