Terrible customer service

"Dear Reader
I'm afraid I've only dealt with A Rapido once but my experience with them was so appalling that I will never recommend anyone use any of their services. I had sent in a pair of trousers for alterations which they quoted on and I agreed the price. It was only when I came in to pay that they tried to charge me double the price. No quote had been written down and I was forced to pay the additional fee. When I tried to pay by debit card I was told it was cash only and they refused my payment. Not being able to pay cash I left the shop in total disbelief of how I had been treated and spoken to. Minutes later the shop rang me and demanded that I come back in and pay upfront for the alterations before they commenced any work on my trousers. In the end they undid my trousers back to what they were and I collected them incomplete.

They tried to bully me in paying a price that was over and above the agreed quotation. They tried to bully me into paying for their service in advance. The shop was extremely rude to me, implied that I was deceitful and treated me with such disrespect and poor demeanour. In the end I had to take my alterations elsewhere after two weeks time wasted with A Rapido.
