Design Engineer - E&C
Design Engineer
Design Engineer. c£25K-£35K plus benefits. The person in this position will develop concepts and detailed drawings for components used in developing a low cost pump for the automotive market based on a current design. They will be involved in the conceptual phase and will be responsible for design content on components for the pump in conjunction with the Lead Designer for that pump. The person will also be responsible FEA analysis and other modelling either directly or through the utilization of other department or organization resources. The position will report to Design Manager and take day to day direction from the Lead Design engineer, Program Manager or Design Manager as appropriate.
Applicant Qualifications:
• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent. – Required
• Must be innovative and visionary in developing design options. - Required
• Must understand and apply physics to the design. - Required
