Unveiling of Beatles Day Sculpture at Cavern Walks

Start date: 10th July 2010 until 1st January 2011

Cavern Walks’ Beatles Day sculpture will be unveiled to the public on Thursday 8th July at 10am.

“Musical Composition” by Mike Badger, founder member of The La’s and renowned Liverpool artist, will be assembled onsite in the run up to the official Beatles Day on Saturday 10th July, and suspended from the domed ceiling of Cavern Walks.

Cavern Walks, which is situated at the heart of the Beatles Quarter in Mathew Street, is built on the site of the original Cavern Club and already houses the only life-size statue of the Beatles standing together in the UK, which continues to be a popular attraction for visitors and tourists.

Come down to Cavern Walks for the grand unveiling and witness the art world pay tribute to the musical legacy of the Fab Four.
