Headingley is a vibrant, diverse and colourful community, so we wanted to create a café that embraced all of these elements.

We fell in love with the beautiful café space in the HEART building, and began to imagine a café that provided great food and drink, but that would also give us the opportunity to run special events and really put our stamp on the place. We loved the idea that we would be part of a project that catered for the whole community!

So, Hawkers Green was born as a space where parents can relax, kids can play, students and older people can socialise and workers can catch a break.

Mon to Tues: 9.30am - 6.00pm
Wed to Sat:   8.30am - 9.30pm

Outside catering

We also provide outside catering for any privately held events and are ideally placed to assist you with your catering needs. We have vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free food on offer in the cafe, these will be listed accordingly but if there are any special dietary requirement please ask our friendly staff and they will be more than happy to help.
