Refurbishment of church roof
"Excel Roofing have recently completed the refurbishment of the main roofs to Hockliffe Street Baptist Church in Leighton Buzzard. The building is a typical Victorian Baptist church and is120 years old. The nails holding the roofing slates were corroded and slates were in danger of being lost in high winds. Excel have stripped all the slates off the roofs, installed a modern high quality waterproof membrane, new laths and in most areas have replaced the original slates. Some areas of the roof have new slates. Gutters and fascias have also been replaced.The project required extensive scaffold access and safety was a prime concern. Control of costs was also important to the church for this project. The job has been carried out to the highest standards using best quality materials. The Excel workforce were courteous and helpful throughout. The job has been completed in safety and to budget.
I have no hesitation in recommending Excel for a similar project.
