Wedding & Prom Fayre in Horndean, Hampshire
Thank you to all our fabulous exhibitors and visitors for making our Wedding & Prom Fayre in Horndean on 10 April 2011 such a great day.
We would like to thank Portsmouth Live TV for filming the event and showing it on their Live @ 5 programme...and the local press who published stories about the event.
Thank you to Barnardo's "Brides by Appointment" for allowing us to present some of their Wedding Dresses on our Fashion Show. Please visit Barnardos.org for more information about this fabulous charity. Their website will also tell you about their new wedding dresses donated directly from retailers and manufacturers, sold at a fraction of their recommended retail prices in aid of Barnardo's Children's Charity.
Alongside the Barnardo's on the catwalk were dresses from FrocksOnline.co.uk (formerly House of Weddings), HMD Brides & Bridesmaids in Denmead and menswear from Just for Guys in Liss. Thank you to Lynne Webb, Beverley Streets and Jade Thomas for helping us put the Fashion Show together. Thank you to all our fabulous models who, with very little practise time, did a fantastic job (take a look on the website link to Portsmouth Live TV). A particular thank you to our youngest models Kensie, Harley, Evie, Elizabeth and Charlie who stole the show!
For making the venue look so elegant, our thanks go to Mrs Bouquet Wedding Flowers in Havant, Glorious Flowers & Balloons and the furniture shop, Shambles, in Horndean for our wonderful arches, 4-poster bed and Wedding Knight! Our network is wonderful and thanks go to Natasha from British Maids in Havant for helping us too.
The live performances made the event extra special and these were the musical talents helping us on the day:
