• A refreshing approach to animal care.

  "I heard of the Purbrook Veterinary Practice from friends who knew I was looking for somewhere new to take my dog and his growing list of ailments! The veterinary surgeons at my old practice were forever changing and I really wanted continuity and people who knew my animals.
  I have been very impressed by Geoff and his down to earth approach, he will offer home remedies and less expensive treatments if they are appropriate..... there are no 'hard sells' here!
  Would highly recommend this local and personal practice. "

• A great veterinary practice

  "Purbrook veterinary practice was recommended by friends so when my cat took ill I gave them a go. I was really impressed with their care and thoughtful approach both to the welfare of my cat and also to the costs incurred. I felt Geoff dealt with it all brilliantly and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. "

• A fantastic practice

  "Purbrook Veterinary Surgery is a great practice,they are kind,warm and resonably priced.When my dog was attack he was badly hurt and scared,they were so kind and gentle and made sure i was ok too.
  i cant see me going anywhere else,as i was so happy with the treatment i recieved and thats hard to find sometimes.Geoff gives great advice and the nurse was fantastic with animals. i have spread the word to family and friends.x"

• A Truly Professional Service

  "Having had a few pets over the years, I was delighted to take my dog to Purbrook Veterinary Practice recently. The welcome, reception and the way they treated us was an absolute delight. They listened and then in my opinion gave a truly professional treatment to my dog. The animal was their priority and as for the cost, well they kept the bill as low and reasonable as they could and not bump it up, unlike some other local vets. I do and have recommended Purbrook Veterinary Practice to all my friends."

• Extremely supportive and caring

  "Purbrook Veterinary Practive was mentioned to me by a friend because of their kindness. Today I received a phone call from two very good friends who needed help because their cat was very poorly and they were extremely upset. I phoned the practice and spoke to Geoff whom was very helpful. He was able to visit their house and was very sensitive in dealing with this sad situation. I would fully recommend this practice. • amazing vet/ surgery

  "geoff and his collegues totally amazed me with their dedication, time and outstanding service, my house rabbit very recently broke his leg, with out geoff and his team and there knowledge and honesty, i do not know what would have happened.

  "I was delighted that Geoff and Lorraine set up in the area. They look after Vinnie my Bulldog very well, even the little things like cutting his nails which he wont let me do.. A very friendly family buisness, everything is explained well and I feel comfortable about talking about any problems or worries I have about my speacial little doggies Daisy the Westie and Suki the Pug. • Very Kind Indeed

  "I recently registered my 2 elderly Westie girls here and sadly haven't yet been to the premises as our first meeting with Geoff was to have my girl Sparky put to sleep here at home. I was a mess but both Geoff and his nurse were very professional and understanding and most of all gentle with my sweet girl...
  I will finally get to visit the surgery later this week to bring my girl home again which I know will be a sad occasion too but I have no doubt they'll be very helpful.
  I hope to see you all at some point for a less devastating reason.

  "I can not express my thanks to this surgery for the quick response to treat my cat.
  Called out at such a short notice on a early Sunday morning the team was there to recieve us for emergency treatment.
  You where so truly professional in your service, your caring and your support.

  "Dear Geoff and Lorraine,
  Once again your diagnosis was spot on as was the treatment for Bertie. You have successfully diagnosed all that we have presented to you, OK not all were treatable, but with your commonsense approach we do not feel that we are being ripped off.
  It was also a pleasure to meet new nurse Sophie, so kind, caring and calming. Well done!

  "Thank you so much for helping me with DAvid yesterday, I was in such a state and you were so kind to me and helped David, and he is on the road to recovering now. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and support and I have been with you since you have opened with all my animals and I can't recommend you or thank you enough, you are the best vets I've ever been too. • AMAZING WORK !

  "I rescued my cat in 2007 when she was unwanted by her owner after she entered a coma after a dental by a Gosport vet. I brought her round from blindness to complete health. In 2010 her teeth became painful. I took her back to the Gosport vet who suggested she should be put down as her teeth are unfixable. So, upon recommendation, I took my cat to Geoff. Geoff explained that we were not seeing her teeth, but seeing the plaque on the teeth. He removed the plaque and put her on a course of antibiotics. My cat is now fit and extremely happy as she was before. Geoff is a vet who knows what he is talking about. DO NOT GO TO ANY OTHER VET. ***GO TO SEE GEOFF NOW**** If I hadn't seen Geoff, my cat would be dead. Geoff saved my cats life. "

• Very Happy Owner

  "I moved to the area about 2 years ago, I started going here as it was so close. But I have stayed here due to the care and honest advice I get from Geoff.
  I had a horrible shock last summer when my little chihuahua was breathing strange and had lumps appear all over his head. It was about 9 in the morning so I grabbed my dog and ran up the vets. They fitted me in straight away, even though there were others waiting and saved my little boy. He was stung by something and had a bad reaction.
  I will always go here from now on and Highly Recommend Geoff to everyone.

• FANTASTIC VETS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

  "Geoff was so kind and wonderful when he looked after Jake (bullmastiff) who unfortunately died the next day. He was so good when our new puppy Gus (bullmastiff) developed Puppy Strangles and was so very ill. Geoff,s non fussy approach and matter of fact attitude and his real love of animals really shows through and gives you so much confidence. FANTASTIC VETS "

  "Just a big thank you for the care you have given all our pets.
  A sad day today as one of our pets was put to sleep.
