All but one of Harrow's 65 schools are open today in Harrow and special needs transport is running again, albeit with minor delays.
The only school closed in Harrow today is Vaughan First and Middle School,, and this is due to a boilder issue. Six schools are partially open - you can see where by checking this regularly updated map
The majority of Harrow's 10 secondary schools have been able to offer tuition to GCSE and A level students during the recent cold snap. Therefore we have done our utmost to ensure teaching continuity for those young people coming up to exams.
Special Needs Transports went out this morning although there have been some delays caused by iced-up side roads. All drivers and escort have been told to take extra care with the roads and pavements.
Bin crews will attempt normal Monday collection routes where possible and a recovery plan is being drawn up for outstanding collections.
