Man robbed of gold necklace in Kenton

Man robbed of gold necklace in Kenton

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a man was robbed in broad daylight in Kenton.

The 30-year-old victim had been walking along Charlton Road on Tuesday 12 July between 2pm and 2.30pm when a man ran across the street to speak to him.

He then reached forward and grabbed a gold necklace from the victim which caused it to break.

The suspect then struggled with the man before pushing him to the floor and running off towards Kenton Road.

Police say the suspect was a black male aged between 19 and 21 years of age, 5ft 7 tall with a stocky build and was wearing dark clothing and a yellow baseball cap.

Anyone who saw what happened, or who can identify the suspect, is asked to call DC Peter Bragg on 020 8733 5407 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
