Summary: Rhythm of London is a new Mayor of London campaign to promote music education opportunities that exist across London and raise awareness of how young people can learn to play music in all its forms. The overall aim is to make music education accessible to all.

London has a thriving music scene of international reach and significance and hosts over 32,000 live music performances each year.  Young people in London aspire to become part of our world-class music sector and live music is a key part of young people's life in London.  However music education, instrument tuition and access to music performance is inconsistent and there is considerable scope for encouraging more music in schools and out of school hours.
Rhythm of London is a two-day celebration of music making, each with a distinct focus, taking place on 10 and 11 July throughout London.
