FIFE Police are appealing for witnesses to a recent break in at a local garden centre in Kirkcaldy where thieves got away with a large amount of cash.
The theft happened between 5 30pm on Friday 12th June and 9 00am Saturday 13th June 2009. Staff returned to the Kirkcaldy Garden Centre, Thornton Road, Kirkcaldy, and found that the premises had been broken into. The culprits had stolen a large quantity of cash made up of coins.
DC Russel Taylor said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who has knowledge of the crime, and in particular anyone who has information on anyone in possession of a large sum of money made up of coinage."
