Police appeal following three daytime burglaries in Chandler’s Ford
Police are appealing for information after some high value jewellery and electrical items were stolen from three addresses in Chandler's Ford between 6.45am and 4.30pm on Monday, February 1.
Two of the burglaries were at properties in Shaftesbury Avenue, the third was at an address in Chalvington Road.
In all three cases ground floor doors were forced open to gain entry and searches made of the property.
Many items of gold, silver and pearl jewellery were stolen from the addresses as well as the following distinctive items:
- A Cartier ‘Roadster' gold and stainless steel watch worth £5600
- A Lassale gold and stainless steel watch worth £4000 (purchased in the 1980s for £1500 and now no longer made)
- A black Canon EOS 350D digital camera in a carry case worth £400
- A black Sony Cybershot digital camera in a case worth £200
- A Dell Inspiron laptop
- A Seiko ‘Kinetic' watch
Police would like to speak to anyone who noticed suspicious activity in this area of Chandler's Ford on Monday or may have been offered these items for sale.
