Dry Lining

Dry lining is a process where plasterboard is fixed to the walls so therefore it is a dry process which can be decorated soon after it is completed. Plasterboard is tacked directly onto the timber studs or stuck on to masonry construction walls. Special paper tape is then taped onto the jointed areas then it is skimmed with a thin coat of plaster. The finished result is indistinguishable from hard plaster.
