We are equipped with comprehensive diagnostic equipment for all current Land Rover models in our dedicated workshops. Whether your vehicle is in for a routine service or engine overhaul, we can carry out all of the work "in house" by our Land Rover trained engineers.
Your 4x4 due an MOT? Book it into GEMM 4x4 and for a one-off test fee they will arange the MOT, should it fail, the workshop will rectify with your permission and have your car re-tested at no additional charge.
The main partner of GEMM 4 X 4 is George McLay. George is a fully trained mechanic who decided to set up GEMM in 1998, after working in the oil industry for 20 years.
A past Scottish and Norwegian off-road champion and winner of one of the disciplines at the Land Rover Nationals, George enjoys competing in a variety of off-road events. Indeed, George is currently Chairman of the Scottish Land Rover Owners Club (SLROC) and through his work on the committee and his extensive driving accolades he is recognised for his experience of off-road driving and vast knowledge of the Land Rover vehicles he uses.
George combines his passion for Land Rovers with his extensive skills and knowledge and is, therefore, well qualified to offer guidance on your vehicles requirements.

"Warning light came on and GEMM checked it out. Corroded pipe leaking hydraulic fluid. I was given the option of repairing the pipe on the understanding that the other pipes would need attention in the future...or remove the complex system for conventional anti-roll bar set up and all for the additional cost of a couple of cheap tyres! Back on the road after only a day in their workshop. Who needs a Land Rover franchise!"Add a review
