As with most small businesses, Hex Fabrication in Falkirk started out small but having now been trading since 2002 and our business has grown along with our reputation resulting in us receiving larger contracts within the construction and commercial industries. The work takes us all over Scotland from our Central Belt base in Falkirk and beyond where throughout the year we regularly visit Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee, Perth and Stirling.

Half of our work is concentrated in the domestic market as we manufacture and fit ornate gates and railings, which also includes automated systems.

We offer a full blacksmiths service, manufacture and fitting of gates, railings, handrails etc. to customers exact specification and requirements, we offer free estimates and advice. A lot of Blacksmith work we undertake is for private domestic customers.

Painted finish, Galvanised or Powder Coating to your completed project?

As a standard for gates and railings, all our quotes include the work being fully primed and glossed prior to fitting of them being, as with all external painted surfaces they will require to be maintained to protect against corrosion.

Its difficult to estimate how frequent your gates/railings will require to be painted as it mostly depends on the environment and conditions their exposed to, for example if your property is near the sea the salt in the atmosphere can substantially increase the rate of corrosion, if you don't live near the sea but your gate/railings are close to a main road which is regularly salted in the winter this can also have similar effects and increase rates of corrosion. In fair conditions we would expect gates/railings, which are painted to give satisfactory periods before maintenance would be required.
