Two entrepreneurial property investors Helen Robinson and Michele Hayter have founded The Derbyshire Landlords network for all local property owners and aspiring property investors to join. The first event is on 22nd April at the Menzies Hotel, Mickleover, Derbyshire.
Both have substantial property experience and knowledge as letting agents and investors and between them own over 50 properties.
Michele says ‘we tried to find like minded people in the area but there are no groups to join locally and travelling to London, where there are a lot of groups was not an a long term option...' Helen explains ‘...so we decided to start our own group and invite some of the big names up to the Midlands, we are very excited to have Phil Martin of Singing Pig & Rapid Property as our first head line speaker and to have secured the Residential Landlords Association's (RLA) support.
Both these dynamic ladies know no bounds and Michele is dealing with life long kidney failure which means she has dialysis 3 times a week taking up 18 hours a week of her time but she doesn't let the illness define who she is or stop her aspirations. Helen says ‘...she is a human dynamo, she never stops, we are a great team and hope to make a great success of the Network.'
The dynamic duo have their first event at the Menzies Hotel on April 22nd. Helen says ‘Interest in what we are doing is very positive. Our meetings are held in Derby we but we welcome and hope to attract people from all over the Midlands'. Entry is £15 on the door or book on line for a free ticket at www.derbyshirelandlordsnetwork.co.uk
