Organisation Description Derbyshire based client are looking to recruit a software developer. Position overview Duties of the role Create and maintain code using appropriate patterns and best practises. Create manage and maintain project source control branches using Subversion. Creating error free software which meets all qualifications. Participation in software release and post-release activities, including support for project launch. Investigate, evaluate, propose and implement new technologies, concepts and design practices. Person Specification Key skills C .NET ASP.NET, MVC2/MVC3 XML CSS HTML SQL Server (stored procedure programming and administration) Subversion Cruise Control (NAnt) Test Driven Development (NUnit) Other qualifications Knowledge of the full software engineering life-cycle desirable. An excellent problem solver who can encourage users to see outside of their current process enabling more robust solutions.
