The Saturday Morning Picture Show

In the afternoon we start to explore the lost world of ITV children's drama with screenings of Ace Of Wands, Timeslip and the rarely seen Jukes Of Piccadilly (starring Nigel Hawthorne). We will be joined by Ruth Boswell (Producer of Timeslip and Jukes Of Piccadilly), Steve Hardy, Andrew Thompson (Timeslip - Beyond The Barrier) and many more to discuss the past, present and future of Children's Drama.

Timeslip - Beyond The Barrier

This is a regional premiere of the documentary exploring the ITV Children's Drama Timeslip, a rarely seen classic of children's drama from 1970. The ATV produced series is explored in depth with interviews from Cheryl Burfield, Spencer Banks, Ruth Boswell, Iris Russell, Ian Fairbairn and many more. Produced right here in Derby.

Television Rarities

Our rarities slot includes an episodes of Counterstike and The Corridor People (described as David Lynch does The Avengers!). Actress Elizabeth Shepherd will be on hand to talk about The Corridor People, being cast as Emma Peel in the Avengers and much more. Plus a rare screening of Counterstike, Britain's answer to The Invaders starring Jon Finch (The Vampire Lovers, The Final Programme).
