For Cornwall barn holidays, call Henwood Barns, we have three converted barns that have been finished to the highest of standards throughout and Henwood Barn is the largest of the three self-catering barns available.

Holidays in this area of Cornwall provide our guests with a great opportunity to explore Bodmin Moor and we are close to the border with Devon and are equidistant from the north and south coasts.

The holiday cottages are set within an area of outstanding beauty that has now been awarded World Heritage Status.

For lovers of horse riding, our local stables are within two minutes walk and there are many activities to enjoy at the local water park.

Our barn holidays provide guests with a choice of three self-catering holiday cottages that have been awarded a 3 and 4-star rating from ‘Quality in Tourism’ and have been converted to a high standard.

Whilst maintaining their original charm, the cottages have been finished to a high standard and include wood burning stoves and both bath and shower facilities.

From the courtyard that leads on to a garden area guest can enjoy stunning views across both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.

Dogs are welcome, however we do ask that they are friendly with dogs and other people.

Henwood Barn sleep 5 guests and is the largest of the self-catering holiday cottages with a double and twin that has zip link beds to create a double and single room.  The cottage features a large lounge and a separate combined kitchen/diner with washer, dryer, cooker, fridge and microwave.  This property provides 3-star self-catering accommodation whist Small Barn is 4-star and accommodates 4 guests.  Five guests can be accommodated however.  The property contains one double bedroom and one twin bedroom.  The lounge/dining area is an open plan design and the kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave and a washer dryer.

The smaller of the holiday cottages is Mole Cottage that can sleep two guests in 3-star self-catering accommodation.  The upper floor of the property features a galleried, open bedroom featuring a double bed with an en-suite facility.  The ground floor is an open plan area featuring slate flagstones and a wood burning stove and a fully equipped kitchen.  Mole Cottage is ideal for couples but, a further two guest can be accommodated on a large sofa bed in the lounge.

Located in the village of Henwood, holidays in this area of Cornwall provide guests with an idyllic country break with easy access to Bodmin Moor and the local amenities of Liskeard. 

Within a few miles drive, guests can visit Port Isaac, a quaint fishing village, that has been used in the series Doc Martin and for lovers of seafood, visit Rick Stein’s seafood restaurant in Padstow.
