We are a long established farming family that now provides a full range of agricultural contracting services including ploughing, sub soiling, one pass cultivation and Cambridge Rolling.

Using a modern fleet of high capacity machinery, our contractors provide all our clients with the highest level of contracting service in the county.

For anyone looking for a cultivation service, we have a 3m Weaving subdisc that comprises three elements.  The first element contains 7 McConnell Shakerator legs whilst the second contains a row of 510mm diameter discs that are scalloped so they move the soil efficiently and deliver a good mix of straw and soil.  The third element comprises a 600mm heavy duty guttler roller that effectively compresses the soil and straw together to ensure rapid decomposition.

Our contractors provide a complete liming service where we supply, deliver and spread high quality lime and sea sand using a JCB Fastrac attached to a 5.5t Acuspread spreaders that provides efficient, accurate spreading.  Fitted with flotation tyres to ensure the least disruption to the structure of the soil.

We also provide a full pH testing service and can correct any imbalances with the pH to ensure you have optimum growing conditions and improve crop yields.

Our contracting services include the provision of Fibrophos, a concentrated PK fertiliser that is environmentally friendly and renewable as it is derived from poultry litter and is a favoured contracting fertiliser as it is rich in potash and Phosphate.  Fibrophos also contains significant quantities of secondary elements such as Sulphur, Magnesium, Calcium and Sodium as well as essential trace elements that are required by grass and crops to ensure a high yield.  We can supply and spread various grades of Fibrophos throughout Devon and Cornwall.

For slurry spreading, we use a Fendt 718 Varlo hooked up to a Pichon Slurry Spreader attached and for spraying, we se a Lemken Sirius 9 Sprayer that is easily adapted to suit fields of various sizes as it can be set to spray at 18, 20 and 24m.  The system is equipped with an on-board computer that ensures both precision and accuracy.

Our contracting services include a complete hedge trimming service and we have tractors and drivers for hire to ensure whatever type of job you require us to do, it will be performed efficiently and effectively.
