Chesterfield Young Ramblers 20's & 30's Walking Group

Start date: 1st January 2008 until 30th December 2009

We have been walking together since August 2004 and are part of the main Ramblers Association aiming to provide walks for 20’s - 30’s year olds around Chesterfield and the Peak District. Our group forms part of the Ramblers’ Association - the charity working for walkers.

We are a relaxed and informal group - wanting to mix walking with other activities including social events and weekends away.

We recommend that all new members contact walk / social leader first just so we can look out for you and make you welcome.

Most of our walks are off road in rural areas. Please have suitable footwear and clothing for the walk you intend to join and bring some food and water, even if the walk includes pub or cafe stop. For safety reasons, leaders will not allow you to attend the walk if you are not suitably prepared. Therefore we advise you contact the leader first for advice.
