E C & I Design Engineer

Design Engineer

Our marine client is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with good control and instrumentation design capability (E C & I). You will be producing design deliverables, i.e. documents, calculations, drawings, specifications and CDM Design Risk Assessments) in relation to the relevant design requirements. You ideally need to have a submarine or at least nuclear background to technically understand the environment, or from another related defence sector. Your role will be to ensure that all designs are managed through the design process in accordance with their relevant procedures. You will also ensure the environmental protection issues and responsibilities are considered when designing the EC&I systems. You will provide through life support for the EC&I systems.
