Man found with potentially life-threatening injuries in Brighton
Police are appealing for information after a man was found by a member of the public in the area of the University of Brighton shortly after midnight in the early hours of yesterday morning (Tuesday June 30th). He was rushed to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
The identity of the man is not known at this stage. He is described as white, slim build, about 5' 10" to 6' tall with short, fair, cropped hair. He has slight facial hair and is thought to be aged in his late 20s to early 30s.
It is believed the man *may* have been in the The Level park area of Brighton the evening before at around 8pm, where it is believed there was a disturbance and possible fighting. Witnesses are sought who may have seen this man or the events in and around The Level area.
The man was wearing mid-blue coloured knee length shorts and it is believed he left The Level area in the company of a woman who may have had facial injuries.
It is thought the pair walked into Lewes Road. Police want to speak to anyone in the area at that time, including a group of people who may have been with the man before he was later found.
